I'm 71, long divorced, retired for 5 years. I'm a long time vegan. I have two out of state daughters, and 4 grand kids. I work 2 days weekly at an independent bookstore in Black Mountain. I sold my home 2 years ago and now rent a small place in Swannanoa, shared with a sweet cat companion. I really enjoy movies, gardening, reading, eating out, Kirtan, drum circle, thrifting, warm ocean water. I also love being out in nature, walks or easy hikes, or just sitting on my porch with a glass of wine.

My adult daughter lives here now as well. I have 2 cats adopted during covid. Watching Nature, reading books, movies, spiritual movement and meditation, new restaurants and delicious cuisine, the ocean and beaches, and front porch sitting! Am mobility disabled so the hiking I thought I'd be doing up in these mountains is no longer possible. Sigh.
