[Boomers] Black Mtn Recreation Dept

Hi Folks,

I forgot to mention that the Black Mtn Recreation Dept. does some great hikes and there are openings next Tuesday 8/26 for the Oak Hill Park hike in Morganton.  You can ride in the van or take your own car and 14 people can go.  This is an easy to moderate hike (about 3 miles) and the company is always enjoyable.  It is rare to have room on these hikes as they usually fill up minutes after the registration is up.  Go to the Black Mtn Recreation  Dept web site and hit programs.  Clint Bowman leads the hikes and he is absolutely delightful to hike with!
